Nervous laughter

Iain Rowan's guide to egregious book-reviewing clichés (the second comment on this post at Detectives Beyond Borders) had me laughing hysterically. I'm sure I've used at least one of those clichés, but will be less likely to slip up in the future.

  1. One man's cliché is another man's trope. I began that post, after all, by acknowledging and defending my own use of one such expression. Perhaps I shall retract that defense once I get around to writing about the book in question.
